The Young Investigator Award has been given annually since 1983.  The Young Investigator Award is designed to foster the recognition of young physicians who are embarking on a career in investigative pediatrics.  The award provides an honorarium of $2,000 and travel expenses to enable the recipient to present their work at the Pediatric Academic Societies' Annual Meeting.
