All slide presentations must be made using PowerPoint. Computers and LCD projectors will be provided.

It is recommended that speakers bring a copy on a Jump drive/USB drive.

Please name your PPT presentation with Abstract #.LastName.FirstName

You can find details of the date, time and room of your presentation by logging into your ESPR/Scholar One account, clicking on the “Message” tool bar in the upper right hand corner, and then clicking on “Invitations” in the drop down menu

Presentations will be loaded onto a central computer in the speaker ready area during the session prior to the presentation (i.e., Friday evening for Saturday morning presentations, Saturday morning for Saturday afternoon presentations, and Saturday afternoon for Sunday morning presentations).

You should allot an oral presentation time of approximately 10 minutes and please list any relevant disclosures on your second slide; if you have none, please put a statement to that fact on the second slide.

The pride and reputation of the Eastern Society for Pediatric Research (ESPR) Meeting has always been predicated on the presentation of the highest quality original science. Your support and participation, through the submission of your best abstracts and attendance, is the key to our persistent success and growth. We encourage you to submit abstracts of the highest quality from your own laboratory or clinical research program for consideration. In addition, help support these meetings by also encouraging junior faculty and trainees, as well as others in your discipline, to submit abstracts detailing cutting edge novel investigations that are hypothesis-driven. The ESPR Annual Meeting is an outstanding forums for presentations by young investigators.

This meeting is a particularly important opportunity for the medical community focused on child health to show their support for academic medicine. Help us to ensure that we continue to represent the vigor and enthusiasm of academic medicine by showcasing the best in pediatrics and child health research of this century. We look forward to your abstract submissions. Additional program, housing and registration materials will be available in January on the website.

More information to come. Please keep checking back for updates.

The ESPR conducts four Award competitions at each Annual Meeting:
  • Trainee Travel Award
  • Faculty Young Investigator Award
  • Trainee Research Award
  • Trainee Poster Presentation Awards
The application deadline for Award Applications is the same as the abstract submission deadline.
